- In order to deal with matters related to surgery and health care insurance, the Taiwan Medical Association has set up the "Taiwan Surgical Association Health Care Insurance Committee"
- The committee has a chairman who is appointed by the chairman. The term of the chairman is the same as that of the supervisors. He is responsible for handling the business of the committee, implementing the relevant resolutions of the committee and the supervisory committee, and attending the supervisory committee to report on the relevant affairs of the committee. Resolutions on membership rights must be submitted to the Supervisory Board for approval.
- The committee has several members and a director-general, who are recommended by the chairman and appointed after the approval of the chairman. The term of the members is the same as that of the director and supervisors.

Member conditions:
(1) Must be a member of the Association.
(2)Each specialist medical association designates a representative of a physician who is responsible for health care insurance affairs.
(3)There are two representative surgeons in hospitals at all levels.
(4)Others shall be selected and hired by the chairman.
- Tasks of this committee: dealing with matters related to surgery and health care insurance.
- The committee will hold meetings at an appropriate time and be convened by the chairman. For single, simple or urgent issues, opinions can be provided through electronic communication or by the chairman and the director-general. However, important issues still need to be discussed at a meeting.
